Away from the glamour of Barcelona , the annual Learning Disability Conference and Exhibition took place at Manchester ’s International Conference Centre in June. With over 1500 hundred visitors to the one day event we were extremely busy on the stand. For this event we had linked in with a number of supported employment providers from the Greater Manchester area including, Tie, Trafford and Salford . The event was a huge success with a lot of inquiries about our service. An even bigger bonus was the relaxation zone which featured this year where we took advantage of the opportunity to treat our weary bones with a foot massage. We look forward to attending again next year especially if the relaxation zone features again!
